The new LÜBBERING standard program from Johannes Lübbering GmbH won over the 38-member jury of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. With its geared offset heads, Johannes Lübbering GmbH proved its design excellence in the most important competition for product design, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The international experts discussed and assessed each of the 4,928 entries from 56 countries. But only the designs that displayed high quality and innovative power were given an award. The geared offset heads L.SP3 from LÜBBERING won the award “Honourable Mention”.

An Honourable Mention is awarded by the Red Dot jury members to a particularly well-executed aspect of design work. Products that convince the jury with a well thoughtout design solution are recognised with this distinction.

Also at the IF Design Award in 2016, the Johannes Lübbering GmbH has been successful with L.SP3. For over 60 years the IF Design Award is a worldwide approved brand mark concerning excellent design. The brand IF is set up as a symbol for exceptional design achievements on an international level and belongs to the most important design prices in the world. The company could also assert itself under more than 5,000 submissions from 53 countries at the international expert’s jury.

Bruno Bergmann and Rudolf Mense from the department research and development are responsible for the in-house design of L.SP3.
